Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This is the personal website of Waithera Kabiru, run by Digital Diva Services Limited (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information the site collects, why, and your rights under Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, enquiry type, subject and message.
- Emails you send us directly, including anything you choose to include in them.
- Cookies: see “Cookies” below.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data. Please don’t include any in your message.
How we use it
- To read and reply to your enquiry, and to follow up on it.
- If you accept analytics cookies, to understand in general terms how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
We use your contact details only for the purpose you contacted us about. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we never sell or rent your information.
Who can see it
Your enquiry is seen by Waithera Kabiru and Digital Diva Services Limited. Our website hosting and email providers process it on our behalf so the site can run and messages can be delivered. Some of these providers may store data outside Kenya; where they do, we rely on them to protect it with appropriate safeguards. We will only share your information with anyone else if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to respond to you and handle any follow-up, and then delete them.
Cookies
- Essential: a cookie that remembers whether you accepted or declined cookies, so we don’t ask you on every page.
- Analytics (only if you click Accept): we may use an analytics service such as Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. These cookies are not set unless you accept them.
- Fonts and icons: the site loads fonts from Google Fonts and icons from Font Awesome. Your browser contacts their servers to download them, which shares your IP address with them. They do not set cookies on this site.
You can change your cookie choice at any time: Change cookie settings
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you have the right to:
- be told how your personal data is used;
- see the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to us using it, or withdraw your consent at any time.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner at www.odpc.go.ke.
